The hotel is an ideal and
romantic location for your wedding with its elegant public rooms, good food and
wine, stunning location, welcoming service and our careful attention to the
details of your wedding reception.
We can cater for weddings from
2 to 70.For weddings of more than 50 guests we offer our Mendelssohn Suite
free of charge to the Bride and Groom for the night of their wedding reception
plus a complimentary bottle of house champagne.
For the larger wedding
reception, for in the region of 60-70 guests, we can offer the exclusive use
of our Elegant Dining Room for your wedding lunch or dinner, our Conservatory
Bar to welcome guests on their arrival and cutting of the cake and the
Classical Lounge for dancing after dinner if an evening reception is planned.
Where a reception for this
number of guests is planned for the late afternoon or evening this may
necessitate our closing, or largely closing, the hotel to other guests to
ensure your full enjoyment of your reception, where this is necessary we may
require a minimum number of bedrooms to be booked by your guests. As we are on
an island this rarely proves any difficulty as most of your guests will
require to book accommodation.
