Hogmanay Celebrations at the Western Isles Hotel

Join us at the Western for a truly memorable finale to 2008, and welcome in 2009 in style. Here's a 2 day break which you can extend for as long as you like to make the most of your stay in beautiful Tobermory.

TUESDAY 30TH DECEMBER

Arrive at the Western Isles and warm yourself with a complementary dram of Tobermory malt or tea and scones in front of the roaring fire. Dinner is included and is served in the restaurant.

HOGMANAY: WEDNESDAY 31ST DECEMBER

Spend the day at leisure, exploring our beautiful island or just pottering around the local countryside. Aros Park, the walk to the lighthouse or just sitting by the harbour, there's plenty so see and do.

Join us for a complementary glass of Champagne before settling down to enjoy Adam and his team's fabulous Hogmanay dinner:

From 10pm we will be joined by the Callum Maclean Trio who will entertain us with traditional Scottish music. Just enjoy the music or join in the dances.

See in the Bells with our piper. Tobermory is well known for its wonderful firework display over the harbour. Weather permitting of course, you'll enjoy the spectacle from one of the best vantage points: the Western Isles terrace.

NEW YEARS DAY: THURSDAY 1ST JANUARY 2009

A leisurely start to the day, with a buffet brunch served in the restaurant from 9.00 until 3.00. Join us whenever you feel like it.

There is no ferry service on the 1st January, and only a limited service on the 2nd, so you may like to extend your stay. Special rates are available if you arrive before the 30th December or stay well on into 2009.
