Sailing in and out of history throughout the years.

The Western Isles Hotel has been host to many events in history, ranging from its use as Allied HQ during the Second World War, with its famous Vice Admiral Sir Gilbert  Stephenson ("The Terror of Tobermory") to renowned films like "I know where I'm going".  It has been host to the rich and famous, and also to the "infamous Skull".

In this section of the site,  read about articles of the the Hotel's history, and add your stories to the ones below.  We hope that over time, and, with your help, our archives will grow.
