"I know where I'm going"

Directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger. 

Wendy Hiller plays a determined girl who travels to the Hebrides to get married and ends up marrying someone else (Roger Livesey) after being stranded on Mull. 
 

This famous movie was filmed on location on the Isle of Mull and several of the scenes were taken inside the Western Isles Hotel. 

The film includes scenes shot at Carsaig, Duart Castle, Torosay Castle and of course at the Western Isles Hotel, Tobermory.
